Cxxdroid Review

Cxxdroid is an educational C and C++ IDE for Android, providing an easy-to-use platform for learning programming languages. Here are some notable features:

Important: Cxxdroid requires a minimum of 150MB of free internal memory, with a recommended 200MB or more for heavy libraries like Boost.

Users can contribute to the development of Cxxdroid by reporting bugs or suggesting new features. The development team appreciates user feedback.

Currently, the debugger feature is not available, but the team is actively working on adding it to the IDE.

As Cxxdroid's primary goal is to assist users in learning C++ programming, the team's focus is on porting common libraries. When requesting the addition of specific libraries, please consider this priority.

The Busybox and GNU ld included in the Cxxdroid APK are licensed under (L)GPL. Please email us for the source code.

The Clang compiler bundled with Cxxdroid has undergone significant changes, but the source code for this fork is currently closed. Any reuse of this proprietary portion of Cxxdroid without permission is considered copyright infringement. Additionally, binaries compiled with Cxxdroid may be subject to these restrictions if they are linked to proprietary libraries provided by Cxxdroid.

The samples within the application are free for educational usage, with one exception: they (or derivative works) cannot be used in any competing products without permission. If you're unsure whether your app falls under this restriction, please seek permission via email.
